My love for animals and desire to help others drew me to this incredible profession and I find helping people and their pets improve their quality of life one of the most rewarding aspects of being a part of the EVBC team.
The opportunity to work as a vet tech feels like a calling for me in so many ways. Helping others, hands on work with patients, and the chance to be a part of the important work of helping a sick or injured animal, as well as supporting pets and owners through the recovery process are such fulfilling parts of this work and I am grateful to be there for pet owners during these challenges. Working with elderly patients, as well as helping owners navigate the care of those pets is also very near and dear to my heart, especially as my own dog is living in his golden years.
Outside of work, I enjoy various outdoor activities and experimenting with new recipes. I do this alongside my husband Matt, our two boys Decker and Deegan, and our family dog Albert, an Australian Shepherd.
