Our Space

Our home away from home.

A Calm, Safe Place for You and Your Dog

At Engmann Veterinary Behavior Consulting, our environment is an extension of our philosophy—welcoming, thoughtful, and designed with care. We’ve created a space that is purposefully different from the typical clinic. Our goal is to make both you and your dog feel comfortable, safe, and understood from the moment you walk through our doors.

A Space Built for Connection and Comfort

Our facility is located in a quiet, low-traffic business and warehouse complex, far from the hustle and bustle that can stress out dogs (and humans). Inside, you’ll find a space that feels more like a living room than a clinic—warm, inviting, and intentionally designed to make your dog feel at ease. Whether you’re here for a consultation or training session, we’ve set up an environment that promotes relaxation and positive experiences for both of you.

Designed for Safety and Success

Our appointments are carefully scheduled to provide your dog with a calm, low-stress environment. We keep at least 30 minutes between appointments to ensure no cross-traffic with other dogs, which minimizes anxiety and distractions.

Some dogs with special needs, including those experiencing reactive behaviors or aggression, need a little extra room to feel relaxed. We can accommodate dogs that need extra space as well as multiple dog appointments (like in cases of inter-household aggression), all while maintaining a calm, controlled environment.

We also can be an  interim space specifically for cooperative care training—providing a crucial step between home and the vet’s office. This space is ideal for helping dogs get comfortable with necessary procedures while reducing stress and anxiety.

A Place to be Understood

When you visit us, you’ll find a place where you and your dog are seen, heard, and supported. We’ve created an environment that reflects our commitment to kindness, connection, and lifelong learning.
